Sky's the Limit!

Hi all and a very Happy Saturday to you! Today I am back with another Fabulous Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge! Yay!  I had a bit of a creative block with this one.. lol.. Couldn't for the life of me decide what I wanted to do with this weeks sketch, so it sat on my crafting table for quite a while..Then one evening, earlier this week, I was passing through my crafts room and glanced at my crafting table which was seriously cluttered with the remnants of various finished projects I had not put away yet, lol..And amongst the mess, was a single image, of a hot air balloon.. and Bingo! I knew exactly what to do with our Sweet Stop Sketch! 8-)  Funny where our ideas come from sometimes..8-) So without further delay, here's the Sweet Stop Sketch #119 for this week:

And here's my take on it.. I stuck pretty much with Korin's Awesome sketch.. Didn't change a thing, unless you count my images rising out of their two little square panels.. 8-)

Well I stamped my Fun Hot air Balloons from Verve's Up, up and Away set onto Flourishes Classic White  with Memento Tuxedo Black. I did a little paper piecing using some Darling dp's from the Stella & Rose "Mabel" collection from MME that I also used for my two long rectangular BG panels too, and added a bit of coloring and shading with my trusty Copics and a touch of Antique Linen Distress Ink.  I matted everything up with the help of my Classic Squares and Scalloped Squares Nesties and some kraft CS from my stash. I created my Big fluffy clouds  BG using a fab cloud template from Bev Rochester ( that my Wonderful SRU team mate Marilyn Scheller shared with me), Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and a small stenciling brush... And to finish it all up, I popped up my Darling images with some dimensionals, stamped my Lil' Inkers Sentiment using Memento Rich Cocoa onto my lower image panel and added a bit of yummy aqua bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds... Pretty easy peasy, huh? 8-)..
I Sure hope you can play along with us, can't wait to see your take on this weeks sketch! And please, make sure to stop by and take a peek at the rest of the Sweet Stop Sugar Babies Fabulous creations!

Love...

Hi All! Happy Wednesday to you!  Hope you're having a Fabulous week so far!  Mine's been a bit busy, but a pretty good one so far... Today I thought I would share my latest creation with you and join in a couple of challenges just for fun.. 8-)

So, I chose to play along with Impression Obsession's Anything I/O Challenge and also thought I would play along with the Fabulous Ladies of CR84FN and their latest Color Challenge #34. What Beautiful colors they gave us to play with this time! 8-)

I stamped my Sweet Impression Obsession Daisy onto Flourishes Classic White with Memento Rich Cocoa and colored it up with my Trusty Copics. I cut out and layered my Daisy with the help of my Classic Circles and Floral Doilies Nesties sets.  I shaded my image with a touch of Antique Linen Distress Ink while my die was still in place and then popped my matted Daisy up with a few dimensionals.  For my Mats and BG layers I chose a combination of kraft CS from my stash and some soft, pretty dp's from My Minds Eye's All Girl Stack. I added a bit of contrast to emphasize the two different shades of pink for the CR84FN challenge using my I/O Harlequin CAC and MS Pink Geranium pigment ink.  To finish it all up, I stamped my I/O sentiment directly onto my BG with Memento Rich Cocoa, added a fun MS punched border, two different shades of pink ribbon, a cute little button, bit of hemp twine and a vintage brad to top it all off.

Hope you all have a Terrific Day & Thanks so much for dropping in! 8-)

Hi All! And a very Happy Tuesday to you! Today I'm back with Timeless Tuesday Challenge #128 and my final July Guest Designer Post as well.  It truly has been an honor to join the Extremely Talented ladies of Flourishes Timeless Tuesday.  I have to tell you, it was quite a treat to get a peak behind the scenes of how this Amazing DT does their thing! And I am glad to say I've learned a lot and met some new friends as well, it's been a fantastic experience!
Well, back to our regularly scheduled program..lol This week Miss Maki is asking for us to create a Christmas in July Card to kick off the Fabulous Flourishes Christmas in July Sale  going on now through July 31st.  All Christmas sets are 20% off! So I sure hope you go and check it out! 8-) Christmas is my all time favorite holiday so I was absolutely thrilled for this weeks challenge.. Not to mention, It helps me keep up with my 1-2 Christmas cards per week plan, so I can have them finished up early this year. That way there's more time to enjoy friends & family and what Christmas is really all about.. 8-)

I stamped my Sweet Christmas Cardinal onto Flourishes Classic White with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored him up with my Trusty Copics using Copic #'s R22, R35. R37, R39, Y35, Y38, E00, E33, E35, BG10 & BG0000.  I cut out and layered my Sweet Image using my Classic Circles and  Blossom Nesties sets and popped it up with some dimensionals. I shaded my image, and BG Panels with a touch of Antique Linen Distress ink.  For my mats and BG layers I chose a combination of kraft, cardinal red and white CS from my stash, that were left over from a previous project ( Love it when I can uses up my scraps! lol ) and my all time favorite Christmas dp's, Basic Grey's Wassail. Trust me, I am kicking myself for not getting more than one pack of this set! Oh well, Live and learn.. lol. I added some Festive embossing with the help of my CB and the snowflakes embossing folder and then added the fun little corner details with my Corner Chomper.  My Flourishes sentiment was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa onto a cute little tag cut out with the help of my Cricut and the Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge. To finish it all up, I added a bit of Ivory lace ribbon,  some sweet adhesive pearls, a button and a vintage pearl brad to top it all off.

Sure hope you will play along with us, It's a great way to get a head start on your Christmas cards and I can't wait to see what you all come up with.  Please make sure to stop by and take a peek at the Beauties the rest of the Timeless Tuesday Ladies have created for your inspiration this week!

Well for my SRU Birthday Celebration Challenge & Blog Hop creation, I chose Whimsie Doodles' Adorable Dottie Laid Back and Beach Borders.  Doesn't she just look like she's enjoying a fun summer celebration?...8-) Well, I sure thought so..lol.  I printed her out onto Flourishes Classic White and colored her up with my trusty Copics. I did a little paper piecing for her Sweet little bikini, beach umbrella and beach ball too, using Sassafras's Sunshine Broadcast dp's that I also used for my BG panels and then matted everything up with Bo Bunny's Double Dot Gabrielle CS in coral.  I though it would be neat to feature one of Sunshine Broadcasts fab journaling cards behind my image... So I did my best to cut out my Darling Dottie and her beach scene so you could see the sunny beach and sky journaling card behind her and popped her up with some dimensional and then popped the whole ensemble up with more dimensionals.  I stamped my Lil' Inker sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black onto a cute little layered tag I made up with the help of my Cricut and the Mother's Day cartridge. And to finished up my SRU Summery Birthday Celebration card, I added some sweet adhesive pearls and some fun Aqua Bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds.

Special Delivery!

Hi All! And a very Happy Saturday to you!  I'm back with another Fun Fabulous Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge. Yay! This was another fun one for me, cause I took one look at the sketch and new exactly which image I would use, it's one from A Day for Daisies that I had been wanting to color up for a while now.. 8-)  So without further delay.... Here is the Sweet Stop Sketch #118  for this week:

And here's my take on it.. I did tweak it just a tiny bit though by putting my vertical ribbon embellie behind my image instead of on top...

Well I printed out my Darling Little girl and her puppies from A Day for Daisies onto Flourishes Classic White and and colored them up with my trusty Copics ( of Course..lol).  I did a little paper piecing for her Sweet little jumper using some super pretty Vintage Whimsy dp's by TheGirls Paperie that I also used for my BG panels and then matted everything up with some kraft CS from my stash.  I created my Big fluffy clouds using a cloud template, Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, but this time instead of using a small sponge, I used a small stenciling brush... I think they turned out a lot better than my last attempt at clouds.. lol.. So looks like I'll be using this technique for my clouds from this point forward.. 8-) And that's pretty much it, I popped up my Darling image with some dimensionals, stamped my Flourishes Sentiment using Memento Rich Cocoa directly onto my BG, added a bit of green gingham ribbon from my stash and a sweet vintage brad to top it all off.
Sure hope you can play along with us, can't wait to see what you all come up with.  And please, make sure to stop by and take a peek at the rest of the Sweet Stop Sugar Babies Beautiful creations!

Cards 4 Kids.. Operation Write Home

Hi all and a very Happy Wednesday to you!  Today I am back with a Fun Challenge for Operation Write Home.  This week Miss Jan Hunnicutt of OWH's Mid Week Throwdown asked me to whip up a couple of cards for a bit of inspiration for OWH's Challenge theme, Cards 4 Kids.  Yay! 8-)
I had a lot of fun with this one cause believe it or not, I've never made a card for kid type folks before..lol So to be fair, I thought I should make up two, one for a little boy and the other for a little girl.  Now I made both of mine Birthday cards, but you don't have to.. As long as it's a card for a Kiddo, you will do just fine. 8-)

So to start with here's My little Boy's card.. I made this little cutie up with the fun Roboto image from Tiddly Inks & colored him up with my trusty Copics. My mats and BG were created with a combination of some aqua CS from my stash and Basic Grey's Oliver collection, which I though would be just perfect fro a little boy.. 8-)  The rest is super easy,  two colors of bakers twine a fun button and a sweet little stamped Happy Birthday Tag.

Now for my little Girl's card, I used a Darling Kitty Kitten image from Di's Digi Downloads also colored up with my trusty Copics and cut out and matted up with my Classic Circles and Scalloped Circle Nesties. My BG was created with digi dp's from Carina Gardener's super pretty Garden Vignette Courtyard set you can find at Two Peas in a Bucket.  And to finish it up I added a bit of Sweet polka dot ribbon, a cute little button and fun stamped Birthday tag all tied up with some pink bakers twine from my stash.

So there you have it, my very first two cards for just for Kids. Yay! 8-) I sent them off to Miss Jan so she can include them in her next batch of cards to be shipped off to OWH.  Okay, Now it's your turn!  Can't wait to see what you all come up with.  8-)

And remember if you are planing to send your cards off to support OWH, please make sure there is absolutely no glitter of any kind as it can interfere with night vision type instruments our troupes use. We want to keep them safe and sound so they can all come home to us! 8-)

Hope you all are having a Wonderful day & thanks so much for visiting! 8-)

Happy Birthday!...Timeless Tuesday #127

Hi all and a very Happy Tuesday to you!  Today I am back with Timeless Tuesday Challenge #127.  And this week Miss Silke is asking for us to create a card based on this Fabulous Inspirational Photo From Crate and Barrel.. 8-)

Well, I thought these colors were just Absolutely Gorgeous together and very inspiring, so that's what I focused on for my creation.. 8-)

Today,I thought I would try a gate fold card for fun little change.. I stamped my sweet little zinnias and sugar bowl from my brand new Flourishes Zinnias set onto Flourishes Classic White with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them up with my Trusty Copics using the Feilds Collection grouped by Flourishes and Copic #'s V00, V04, V06, W0, W1, E70, E71 & Y38. I cut out and layered my image using My Classic Circles and Floral Doilies Nesties sets. I shaded my image with a very light touch of Memento Tuxedo black while my die was still in place and then Inked my Floral Doilies edges as well and popped up the whole ensemble up with a few dimensionals.  For my mats and BG layers I chose some Sweet delicate digi dp's from Sassy Design's Celebration  & Chantel  Packs & added a bit of color to tie in my BG with my image and card base using my Copic #V04.  My Flourishes sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo black onto a cute little tag cut out with the help of my Cricut and the Plantin Schoolbook  Cartridge and then shaded with a very light touch of Memento Tuxedo Black  again.  To finish it all up I added a bit seam binding ribbon that I colored up with my Copics to match my color scheme, a sweet little button and tied it all up with some yummy grape bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds.
Sure hope you will play along with us, can't wait to see what you all come up with.  And please make sure to stop by and take a peek at the Beauties the rest of the Timeless Tuesday Ladies have created for your inspiration!

You Light Up My Life!

Hi All! And a very Happy Saturday to you. Today I am back with another Fabulous Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge! Yay! This one was a lot of fun for me, since Christmas is my all time Favorite Holiday and our sketch this week has a Christmas in July theme.  The hard part for me, is once I start my Christmas cards, it's hard to stop and go on to other projects.. lol.. But, I made a deal with myself, that I will just keep making one or two Christmas cards a week..and then by the time the Holidays roll around I should be all set with my Christmas cards, so all around, it's a Good thing.. 8-)  So without further delay, here is the Sweet Stop Sketch #117 for this week:

And here is my take on it, with my very first Christmas card of the year! Yay! 8-)

Well, I printed out my Darling Sweet N Sassy Digi Snowman onto Flourishes Classic White and colored him up with my trusty Copics and a touch of shading with Antique Linen Distress Ink.  I matted up my image and created my BG panels with a combination of red CS from my stash and some Fabulous Christmas dp's from K&Co.  I also added a bit of texture with some kraft CS from my stash, my CB and the divine swirls embossing folder. And to finish it all up,  I popped up my Adorable Snowman image and BG panel with some dimensionals, added some pretty natural crochet lace, a bit of red velvet ribbon and a sweet vintage brad from my stash to top it all off.  Pretty easy peasy, huh? 8-)
Sure hope you will play along with us, can't wait to see what you all come up with.  Not to mention it's a great way to get an ealry start on your Christmas cards.. 8-)  And please, make sure to stop by and take a peek at the rest of the Sweet Stop Sugar Babies Fabulous creations!

Sending Caring Thoughts...Timeless Tuesday #126

Hi all and a very Happy Tuesday to you!  Today I am back with Timeless Tuesday Challenge #126.  And this week Miss Cindy is asking for us to create a card with embossing on it.. It can be either wet or dry embossing but there must be some kind of embossing on your creation! 8-)

I stamped my sweet little zinnias from my brand new Flourishes Zinnias set onto Flourishes Classic White with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them up with my Trusty Copics using both the Lenten Rose and Green Grass Collections grouped by Flourishes. I cut out and layered my image using My Classic Ovals and Labels 18 Nesties set. I shaded my image with a touch of Victorian Velvet Distress Ink while my die was still in place and then Inked my Labels 18 edges as well and popped up the whole ensemble up with a few dimensionals.  For my mats and BG layers I chose some Gorgeous Vintage digi dp's from Carina Gardner's Garden Vignettes Courtyard Set featured at Two Peas in a Bucket. I added my Embossing with the help of my CB and the Victorian embossing folder and then added the fun little corner details with my Corner Chomper.  My Flourishes sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo black onto a cute little label cut out with the help of my Cricut and the Mother's Day Cartridge and then shaded with a touch of Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.  To finish it all up I added a bit of striped Jute ribbon and a darling vintage style brad from the Flourishes Yacht Club 1-2-3 Kit of the month, which I hate to say, is currently out of stock.  I also added a Fun little button in just the perfect shade of pink and a few sweet adhesive pearls to the corners as a finishing touch.
Sure hope you will play along with us, can't wait to see what you all come up with.  And please make sure to stop by and take a peek at the Gorgeousness the rest of the Timeless Tuesday Ladies have created for your inspiration!

Naughty Kitty by Heart Song Designs

Hi all! Hope you are having a very Happy Monday!  Today I'm back with another Fabulous Stamps R Us Challenge. Yay! 8-)  Today our Theme is "Through the Garden Gate"  So your card should reflect things you might find in a garden.  Our Wonderful Sponsor is Heart Song Designs. And let me tell you, their images are just Darling so please do stop by and check them out.  Also, Leah from Heart Song Designs has put together a very generous prize package for one lucky winner, so I sure hope you can play along with us.  And please stop by the Stamps R Us Blog to take a peek at the Fabulous creations the rest of  Fantastic Design Team has in store for you! 8-)

I printed out my mischievous Naughty Kitty onto Flourishes Classic White and colored him up with my trusty Copics. I cut him out with the help of my Labels 18 Nesties set and created my Mats and BG with a combo of Fabulous dp's from Bo-Bunny and the Stella & Rose "Mabel" collection from MME.  I sponged my fluffy clouds using a cloud shaped template and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink while I still had my Nesties die still in place. I had a couple of challenging moments with my clouds on this one, I think I still need a little more practice.. lol Next time I am going to try using a stenciling brush instead of my little sponge.   I stamped my I/O sentiment onto a bit of white CS from my stash with Memento Rich Cocoa and then inked the edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink. To finish it all up I popped up my cutie patootie kitty with a few dimensionals, added a bit of linen ribbon from my stash, a sweet little button and tied it all up with with some fun bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds. Pretty easy peasy, huh? 8-)

Hi!

Hi all and a very Happy Saturday to you! Today I am back with another Fabulous Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge! Yay!  I had a lot of fun with this one, it was perfect for my Cutie Patootie Dilly Duck and Ladybug  from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  And I do believe, this is my Husband's favorite card to date.. He really liked the Duck lol!   8-) So without further delay, here's the Sweet Stop Sketch #116 for this week:

And here is my take on it with my Adorable little Dilly Duck and Ladybug.. 8-)

Well, I printed out this Sweet little fellow and his buddy onto Flourishes Classic White and colored him up with my trusty Copics. 8-) I sponged my fluffy clouds using a cloud shaped die cut and tumbled glass distress ink.  I matted up my image and created my bg panels with a combination of red CS from my stash and Stella & Rose "Mabel" dps from My Minds Eye. I added a Fun MS punched Border that I stamped with my Inkado Polkadots stamp and a bit of white frost pigment ink. I popped up my matted Darling Duck and Ladybug with dimensionals after adding my Impression Obsession Sentiment stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.  To finish it all up, I added a sweet crocheted flower and two colors of bakers twine from MADD Stamper Finds and a pretty little pearl to top it all off.

Hello...

Hi all and a very Happy Friday to you!  I have a super quick post today as I have way too many things on my to do list and barely enough time to get them all done! lol... I know you have all had days like that as well, so without further delay...

For today's post I thought I would play along with a few challenges, CR84FN # 33, Mojo Monday's Sketch #198    Challenge/Contest and Impression Obsession's "Hello" Challenge..  And let me tell you, this card was definitely a challenging one, lol... It just did not want to come together easily..lol  In fact at one point I almost considered scrapping it and starting all over, But I really hate to do that... I really hate to be wasteful of time, energy and supplies.. lol... so I walked away from it for a bit, went on too a different project and came back to it and did a little tweaking  here and there...  Anyway, long story short, this is what I finally settled on, and I'm still really not sure if I like it or not.. lol  But here it is, none the less.. 8-)

I stamped my Impression Obsession Butterfles  by Sarah Phelps directly onto my Basic Grey Bittersweet dp with Memento Tuxedo Black. I cut my Sweet little butterflies out and added the little wire antennas, and pink pearl bodies, attached them to a Journaling label that I matted up with the help of my Nesties labels 18 and some red CS from my stash and popped the ensemble up with dimensionals. My background was created using a combo of more red CS from my stash & the same Basic Grey Bittersweet DP and it just ended up just looking way too bright, so I very lightly and carefully sponged on some White Frost pigment ink to soften the colors a bit..  I stamped my Impression obsession sentiment onto a little layered oval that I had left over from a previous project, with Memento Tuxedo Black and popped it up with dimensionals.  And to finish it all up I added a bit of pink seem binding ribbon  a fun little button and some bakers twine form MAD Stamper Finds.

Hope you all Have a Fabulous weekend & thanks so much for dropping in! 8-)

Hello Friend...Timeless Tuesday GD!

Hi all and a very Happy Tuesday to you! I have some Super Exciting news to share with everyone today! The Terrificly Talented Tammy Hershberger and the Fabulous Ladies of Flourishes Timeless Tuesday have asked me to join them as their Guest Designer for the month of July!  I can't even begin to tell you how excited and truly honored I am to have been asked to join them this month... You see, these Phenomenal Ladies are the ones that I go see when I am in need of inspiration! 8-)
Well, this week, for  Timeless Tuesday Challenge #125,  Miss Heather is asking for us to make a card for a friend, either across the miles or nearby, and your card must have "Friend" in the sentiment...

For my creation today, I chose to use Flourishes Friendly Reminders set, which I've had in my stash for a while now and had really been wanting to ink up, and thought it would be just perfect for this weeks Challenge... 8-)
I stamped the little Summery Straw Hat onto Flourishes Classic White with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it up with my Trusty Copics using Flourishes Flesh Tones Collection 1, Y21 and the Lilac Collection.  I very carefully cut out my image and popped it up with dimensionals onto a Classic Nesties Circle that had been shaded with a touch of Peeled Paint Distress Ink and then matted them up with the help of my Blossom Nesties set, which I also popped up with dimensional.  My mats and BG were created using Basic Grey's Beautiful Kioshi pack which I thought was a pretty good match for my cheerful summery image. To finish it all up, I stamped my Flourishes sentiment directly onto my BG with Memento Tuxedo Black, added a Sweet MS punched border, a bit of pretty lavender ribbon from Michaels and a fun little button all tied up with hemp twine from my stash.
Sure hope you will play along with us, can't wait to see what you all come up with.  And please make sure to stop by and take a peek at the Gorgeousness the rest of the Timeless Tuesday Ladies have created for your inspiration!

I printed out my Super Cute Tiddly Inks Snorkel Bunny image onto Flourishes Classic White and colored him up with my trusty Copics ( of course, lol)  My Mats and BG were created using a mix of dps from my stash and believe it or not, I was lucky enough to still have pieces that had the info on the back so I could share it with you, lol..  The Aqua bubbles dp is from TPC Studio's Just Beachy collection, the Water Fun dp is from Karen Foster designs and my mats were all made from Scrap Your Trip's Rattan dp.  To finish it all up, I popped my Darling Snorkel Bunny image up with some dimensionals, added some Glossy Accents to his cute little face mask, some fun polkadot ribbon from my stash a sweet beachy shell button and tied it all up with two different colors  of bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds.
