Happy Anniversary - CR84FN53

Hi All! And a Very  Happy Sunday to you! Hope you've all been enjoying a Wonderful weekend! Today we start a Brand New CR84FN Color Challenge! Yay! 8-)  And for the next two weeks we will be working with CR84FN53's Beautiful color palette of  Pink, Aqua & Neutral. 8-)
Okay, yes, it's yet another Anniversary card, lol but I do believe it will be my last one for quite a while..8-)  My Mats, BG & Die cut Layers were created using a combination of kraft and pink CS from my stash and various dp's from Melissa Frances's 5th Avenue Collection. My Pretty flower was created with the help of my Cricut and the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge, Graphic 45's Baby 2 Bride dp's and a vintage gem brad. I layered my lovely flower onto SB Classic Ovals and Open Scallop Ovals die cuts that I popped up with a bit of foam tape. To finish it all up. I stamped my Hero Arts Sentiment with Memento Rich Cocoa directly onto my main panel and added a fun scalloped border... 8-)

Mom - SSS156

Hi All! And a Very Happy Saturday to you! Hope you all had a Super week! Today I'm back with the fourth and final week our Sweet Stop Birthday Celebration! Yay! 8-) We are continuing our Blast from the Past Challenges & remember, you get to pick your own Sweet Stop Sketch, so why not to play along!  You can use any of the sketches from our DT's creations or any previous Sweet Stop Sketch that you'd like!  And we have yet another Fabulous prize to give away this week! 8-) So come help us Celebrate and join in the fun! 8-)
I printed out my Darling SNSS Lilacs for Cocoa image onto Flourishes Classic White and colored this  little Cutie up with my trusty Copics. I cut him out with the help of my Classic Ovals using the out of the box technique and popped him up with foam tape. All my mats and BG pieces were created with brown CS from my stash and various dp's from Fancy Pants' Lilac House collection. To finish it all up I stamped my Flourishes sentiment onto a cute little die cut tag with Memento Rich Cocoa, added an MFT die-namic border, and a bit of Pretty ribbon from my stash...8-)

Happy Mom's Day - Whimsie Doodles GD Fairwell..

Hi All! And a Very Happy Wednesday to you! Hope everyone's been having a Super weeks so far! Today I'm back to share my last Whimsie Doodles Guest Designer Card for the Month of April. I've had so much fun with Melyssa's Super Adorable images and even more fun getting to work with all the Wonderfully Talented  Doodlicious Divas to boot! Wish I could stay and play all the time! 8-) Thanks so much you guys, for having me, it was truly a pleasure! 8-)
I printed out my Darling Whimsie Doodles Turtle Parade image onto Flourishes Classic White and colored these little Sweeties up with my trusty Copics. I cut them out and scored the edges with the help of my Score Pal for a nice clean look and popped them up with a bit of foam tape. For my mats and BG layers, I chose a combination of SU's Calypso Coral CS and Dsp's from SU's Everyday Enchantments collection. And to finish it all up, I added a Petty little Flower behind Momma Turtles ear, and a few Cute little buttons all tied up with some Yummy Baker's twine from MAD Stamper Finds. Oh and the fun Sketch is DS46.

Happy Birthday - CR84FN52 Week 2!

Hi all! And a Very Happy Sunday to you! 8-) Sure hope you've all been enjoying your weekend..8-)  Well today I'm back with a real quick post for Week 2 of the CR84FN Color Challenge! So you guys still have one more weeks to play along with Heather's Pretty Color Combo! Yay! 8-)
Thought I'd try my hand at a CAS type card this week! Also it gave me the Perfect excuse to play around a bit more with my new PTI Butterfly Dreams stamp set. Yay! 8-) I stamped my Sweet little butterflies and flowers with SU's PRetty in Pink and Crumb Cake inks onto some Ivory CS from my stash and then I ran it though my CB using the Victorian EF. I matted it up with a scrap of pink patterned dp from Echo Park's Springtime collection. To finish it all up, I stamped my PTI sentiment directly onto my card base with Memento Rich Cocoa, added a Pretty MS Punched Border, a bit of  ribbon from my stash and a Sweet little button all tied up with some Yummy Baker's Twine from MAD Stamper Finds.. 8-)

Happy Mother's Day - SSS155

I printed out my Pretty SNSS Tulips image onto Flourishes Classic White and colored them up with my trusty Copics and cut them with the help of my Classic Circles Large and Small Nesties sets. I added a touch of shading with Antique Linen Distress ink while the die was still in place and popped them up with a bit of foam tape. For my mats and BG layers, I chose a combination of ivory CS from my stash and Dp's from Fancy Pants' Lilac House collection. My Flourishes Sentiment was stamped onto a layered hand cut tag with Memento Rich Cocoa. And to finish it all up, I added a Sweet Seam binding ribbon and Bow...8-)

Birthday Turtle - SSSC156

Hi all! and a Very Happy Wednesday to you! Hope everyone's been having a Super weeks so far! Today I'm back to share my latest Whimsie Doodles Guest Designer Card and thought I'd play along with Karen's Awesome Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #156 while I was at it! 8-)
I printed out my Darling Whimsie Doodles Birthday Turtle image onto Flourishes Classic White and colored  him up with my trusty Copics. I cut him out with the help of my PTI Mat Stack 3 Die and popped him up with foam tape. My Big fluffy clouds were created with my favorite cloud templateTumbled Glass Distress Ink and a small stenciling brush.  All my mats and BG pieces were created with a combination of kraft CS from my stash and various dp's from MME's Lime Twist Fly a Kite collection. To finish it all up I cut out my layered sentiment banner by hand, added a fun MS punched border and some Cute polkadot ribbon from my stash..8-)

Home - TT94

Hi all! And a Very Happy Tuesday to you! Hope you all had a Wonderful weekend and are enjoying a Terrific week so far! 8-) Today I'm back with another Fabulous Tuesday Throwdown Challenge! Yay! 8-) Our Theme this time is "Recycle". Our Wonderful Sponsor is Meljen's Designs. They have Sooo many Adorable images, it's was really tough to chose which one to color up! 8-) So please do stop by and check them out 8-) Also, they have put together a very generous prize package for one lucky winner, so I sure hope you can play along with us.  And please do stop by the Tuesday Throwdown Blog to take a peek at the Fabulous creations the rest of the Super Talented Design Team has in store for you! 8-)
I printed out my Darling Meljen's Garden Birdhouse image onto  Flourishes Classic White and colored it up with my trusty Copics. I cut out my Sweet little scene and scored the edges with the help of my Score Pal for a nice clean look and popped it up with a bit of foam tape. My recyclable for my card was a panel that I had planned to use on a previous creation, but it just didn't work out right, so I ended up going a different direction and put the panel aside to hopefully use on a different creation down the road, lol... So glad I saved it, cause I was able to use it for today's project! Yay! My mats and BG were created with a combination of olive green CS from my stash and dp's from MME's Bright Side Two collection. To finish it all up I jsut added a few fun little buttons all tied up with Yummy Bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds.  Oh, and the sketch is DS46...8-)

Happy Anniversary - CR84FN52

Hi all! And a Very  Happy Sunday to you! Hope you've all been enjoying a Wonderful weekend! Today we start a Brand New CR84FN Color Challenge! Yay! 8-)  And for the next two weeks we will be working with CR84FN52's Beautiful color palette of Med. Pink, Tan & Cream. 8-)
And yes, I've made yet another Anniversary card, lol Hope you are not tired of them yet.. lol I think I am down to only needing one more, but I will try and change it up a bit here and there..8-) My Mats, BG & die cut layers were created using a combination of kraft and ivory CS from my stash and various dp's from MME's Lost and Found Blush collection. For a bit of interest, I stamped my cream and tan tiny polka dot panels with Hero Arts La Lettre stamp with SU's crumb cake ink. I added a touch of distressing and embossing to my kraft pieces with my Snow cap paint Dauber, my CB and the Victorian EF.  My Pretty layered Butterfly was created with PTI's Butterfly Dreams die and coordinating stamp set along with PTI's Signature Series Butterfly die and mounted onto my layered SB Ovals and Labels 2 die cuts. My I/O Sentiment was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa directly onto my BG. And to finish it all up I added a Sweet MFT Die-namic simply scallops border , seam binding ribbon from my stash and a pretty little rose from MAD Stamper Finds... 8-)

When Life Gives You Lemons... - SFYTT April 2012

Hi all! And a Very Happy Thursday evening to you! 8-) Hope you have all been having a Super week so far! 8-) Mine's been good, and Super busy too!  Just wanted to share with you my Latest Whimmsie Doodles Guest Designer Card and play along with the Latest Sketch for you to Try while I was at it.. 8-) I didn't have any of TSG's Darling images , but I do have quite a bunch of  Melyssa Connolly's Darling images and as TSG Features her designs, I figured this Fun little image would be a good substitute.. lol
I printed out my Fun Whimsie Doodles Margarita's image onto Flourishes Classic White and colored  it up with my trusty Copics. I cut it out with the help of my Classic Circles Large and Small and popped it up with foam tape. All my mats and BG pieces were created with a combination of kraft CS from my stash and various dp's from Fancy Pants' Beach Bum collection To finish it all up I added a touch of Stardust Stickles for my salted rim and and some Yummy Bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds.  Pretty easy peasy, huh... 8-)

Whimsie Doodles Monthly Challenge - Choose Your Challenge! 8-)

Hi all! Well I am back again with my second post of the day cause the Whimsie Doodles April Challenge starts right Now! Yay! 8-) This month's challenge is to CHOOSE YOUR OWN CHALLENGE - there are 3 choices...
A: Create a card using the Spotlight Technique
                                                B: CASE this card from Melyssa:
                                              C: Use an office supply AND lined paper on your project.
There will be 2 winners for the challenge! One (1) lucky winner will be drawn at random to win a FREE Whimsie Doodles image, of their choice, from the latest release  And the second winner will join the Whimsie Doodle team as a Guest Artist in June 2012!!  Complete Details can be found on the Whimsie Doodles blog!  
I decided to go with C. To use an office supply and lined paper! 8-) I printed out my Darling Whimsie Doodles Gator and Friends image onto Flourishes Classic White and colored these little Cuties up with my trusty Copics. I cut them out with the help of my Classic Circles Large and Small and popped them up with foam tape. All my mats and BG pieces were created with various dp's from Echo Parks This and That Charming collection which included a Great lined paper design as well. To finish it all up I added an MFT die-namic border and  my Office Supply by creating my own fun Button & twine paper clip. I just used a regular old paperclip and attached a cute little button all tied up with some Yummy Bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds. The sketch is Deconstructed Sketch #42. I just Love Miss Jen's Awesome Sketches! 8-)
