Sweet Bunny Cards - CR84FN51 DT!!8-)

Hi all! And a Very  Happy Sunday to you! Today I'm back with some really Super Exciting news to share with everyone!! I don't know if you recall the exciting news I mentioned a while back, that I couldn't quite share all of it yet, well This is the rest of it! 8-) The Amazingly Talented Mona Pendleton asked me to continue on as an official member of the Fabulously talented DT over at CR84FN Color Challenge!!!  Hurray!! I am Soooo Excited and Honored to have been asked to join such a Warm, Wonderful and Terrificly Talented group of Ladies!  I am So doing my Happy Dance right now! Yay!! 8-)   Well today we start a Brand New color challenge, and for the next two weeks we will be working with CR84FN51's Beautiful color palette of Pink, Peach & Light Blue, picked out by my Wonderful Teamie Heather Jensen. 8-)
For my first official DT creation, I thought I would make some Sweet Bunny shaped cards to send to friends and family for Easter this year.  To create these little Sweeties, I used the help of my Cricut and the Birthday Bash cartridge and my dp's are all from Graphic 45's Beautiful Baby 2 Bride collection. After cutting out and assembling my cards, I did a bit of paper piercing and inked all my edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink. My Pretty flowers were created also with the help of my Cricut, the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge and a few Pearl and Sparkly brads to top them off. And to finish them all up, I added some seam binding ribbon from my stash and cute little cotton ball tails. Pretty easy peasy, huh?.. 8-)

Here are a couple of pics of the individual cards:
And here are the Beautiful CR84FN colors:

Hi all! And a Very Happy weekend to you! 8-)  Hope you all had a Terrific week! Mine was pretty good. 8-) Can't believe it's already Saturday again! Whoo Hoo! 8-)  And you know what that means... It's time for another Fabulous Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge! Yay! 8-)  I really had a lot of fun with Miss Korin's Terrific sketch, Loved all the Fun shapes! I can picture so many different motifs  with this sketch too! I know I will be using this one again real soon! 8-) So without further delay, Here's is my take on Miss Korin's Fabulous Sketch...
I Printed out my Darling TCP's Rabbit in a Cupcake image,  directly from Zlatoenas Etsy Shoppe onto Flourishes Classic White & colored him up with my trusty Copics. I cut him out with the help of my Classic Squares and Scallop Squares Nesties sets using the out of the box technique & popped him up with a bit of foam tape. My mats and BG panels were created with a combination kraft CS from my stash and dp's from an older 12x12 MME set called Good Day Sunshine (Girl)...I just thought the colors were Perfect for a Fun Birthday Card! 8-) To finish it all up I stamped my sentiment ( from the dollar bin at Michaels) with Memento Tuxedo black onto a fun little layered die-cut pennant tag and added a few Sweet pearls..8-)

Here's Miss Korin's Awesome Sketch:

Have an Egg-stra Special Day! - SFYTT March 2012

Hi All! and a Very Happy Wednesday evening to you! Hope you all are enjoying a Wonderful week! It's been a bit chilly and rainy here the last few days, so Perfect excuse for me to get busy in my crafting room! lol Well today I thought I would share a quick post of my latest creation inspired by Jen del Muro's  Sketch For You To Try. I sure wish I had some of The Crafts Meow's Darling Stamps, but alas, I do not, so improvised with another Darling image from Pink Cat Studio instead, not to mention, I also needed a few more Easter cards, lol 8-)
I printed out my sweet PCS Easter Egg Chicks out onto Flourishes Classic White and colored these little Cuties up with my trusty Copics.  I cut them out and scored the edges with the help of my Score Pal for a nice clean look. For my mats and BG layers, I chose a combination of a few different Dp's from Echo parks Darling Springtime collection. I stamped my Pink By Design Sentiment onto a layered die cut pennant with Memento Rich Cocoa. And to finish it all up, I added a fun felt Daisy created with my MFT Upsy-Daisy Die-namics layered onto a SB Blossom die cut and topped off with a cute little button all tied ups with some Yummy Baker's twine from MAD Stamper finds.. And lastly I inked my cards edges with bit of SU's White craft ink... 8-)
