Hi all! Hope you've been having a Super weekend! Well I'm back again today,( I know, two posts in one day Goodness! lol ) with Some of the 'News" I mentioned the other day! I'm so excited to share that the Wonderfully Talented Karen Giron, of the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge asked me to be their Guest Designer for today's Challenge! Whoo Hoo! I can't even tell you how thrilled and honored I am to get to work with this Amazing group of Terrifically Talented Ladies! Not to mention, The Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge is one of my all time Favorite sketch challenges too! So you know I am doing my Happy Dance right now! Yay! 8-)
I usually shy away from people images as I am always a bit unsure of my Copic skills for hair and clothing, I find cute cuddly animals much less intimidating lol, but this little Sweetie from Milk Coffee Digital Stamps was just too cute to resist.. lol So I bit the bullet and colored her up the best I could. 8-) I think she makes a Darling dancing Irish lass.. I printed her out onto onto Flourishes Classic White and colored her up with my trusty Copics and fussy cut her out. I popped her up with some foam tape onto a SB die cut Classic square that I ran thru my CB with the big dots EF and added a touch of shading with Pealed Paint Distress ink. For my mats and BG layers, I chose a combination of ivory & dark green CS from my stash and some Adorable digi dp's from Moon Stream Designs and Tracy Ann Digital Art. To finish it all up, I stamped my Pink by Design Sentiment onto a Cricut die cut tag with Memento Tuxedo Black, inked the edges with Peeled Paint Distress ink added some ribbon from my stash and a few pretty little gems here and there as well... 8-)
And Here's Miss Karen's Awesome Sketch..
