This week, Taylored Expressions will help you to create with a different Birthday Inspiration Challenge each day. These charities need birthday cards of all kinds: child, adult, baby, so send in your funny, sweet, pretty, elegant, works of art and know that you will be brightening someone's day in a way only a handmade card can do. To get all the details on how to participate, please hop over to the Taylored Expressions Blog.
For my Fun Share Joy Project this week I chose to play along with the Birthday Washi Challenge!! 8-)
Challenge guidelines: Washi tape is a fun and easy way to add pizazz to any project! With such an amazing array of pattern, colors and sizes to choose from, washi tape is great for backgrounds. accents and more. Create a Birthday Card using washi tape.
Here's what I came up with... 8-)
Thought I'd try my hand at a bit of a different style for me anyway, lol... I'm still not sure I like the way it turned out or not, but my Sweet Hubby says he thinks it looks Great! ;-) Lol, He's such a Sweetie...;-) Well I stamped my Sweet Sunflower Wreath with Memento Tuxedo Black onto TE's Choice Snow White CS and colored it up with my trusty Copics. I cut it out with the help of my Classic Circles & Scallop Nesties sets and popped it up with a bit of foam tape...
My Mats and BG layers were created with TE's Choice Kraft CS, TE's Choice Snow White CS, some shading with Antique Linen & Vintage Photo Distess inks & Various washi tapes, including Doodlebugs Bumble Bee Swiss Dot washi, and Flowerbox - Woodsy washi too. And to finish it all up I stamped my Make it Memorable sentiment with Memento Rich Cocoa & added a little spritz with a Studio Calico Mister just for fun, though next time I will do a few more test spritzs first, lol a bit more came out than I expected, lol.. I also added a fun Jute cord bow and some fun Doodlebug sprinkles too... 8-)
We have several Design Team members and Alumni who have Fabulous Samples to share for today's inspiration, so be sure to head over to the TE Blog for the full link list!
Hope you all have a Super day & Thanks So much for stopping in! 8-)
