Best 'O Luck.. - SSS146

Hi all! And a Very Happy Sweet Stop Sketch Saturday to you! 8-) Hope you all had a Wonderful week! Mine's been busy busy creating in my crafts room, attempting to keep one of my personal resolutions for this year to participate in more challenges and to incorporate more sketch challenges as well! ( Love working off sketches!) Well, today I'm back with the latest  Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge, Yay!  And since it's the third Saturday of the Month,we have a fun spin for you too, so you know there's a Terrific prize up for grabs to one very lucky winner! 8-) Our spin this time is "To use Punches or Dies" 8-) So without further delay, here's my take on Miss Korin's Fabulous sketch and the spin..

I just have to say, I Love St. Patty's Day! Being an Irish Lass and all, lol But I always have a tough time finding really cute St. Patty's day images, So regardless of the time of year, when I come across one, I just have to grab it!  And I found one that I just adored from Bugaboo Digi Stamps, and thought this little guy would be perfect for Miss Korin's Awesome sketch! I printed out my Sweet little Turtles Good Luck image onto  Flourishes Classic White and colored him up with my trusty Copics. I cut him out with the help of my Classic Rectangles Nesties set using the out of the Box technique and added a touch of shading with my Antique Linen Distress ink while the die was still in place.  I popped him up with a bit of foam tape onto Fun layered SB Classic Circle and Blossom die cuts. For my mats and BG layers, I chose a combination of ivory CS from my stash and some Adorable digi dp's from Moon Stream Designs and then added a little texture with my Swiss Dots EF. To finish it all up, I stamped my Pink by Design Sentiment onto a layered die cut banner tag with Memento Tuxedo Black, inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress ink and added some linen ribbon from my stash.. 8-)

And Here's Miss Korin's Awesome Sketch..

I hope you can play along with us at The Sweet Stop! Can't wait to see what you all come up with this time! And as always, please, make sure to stop by and take a peek at the Wonderful creations the rest of the Super Talented Sugar Babies have cooked up for your inspiration. Leave them a little Love too, it's always greatly Appreciated...8-)
