For each challenge, there's an inspiration cupcake and you make a card or other craft project that is inspired by the cupcake. Here is this week's cupcake... (linked to original source):
And here's what I came up with especially for Taylor's Birthday... 8-)
I stayed focused on the Soft Dreamy colors & the Cupcakes, since I know Taylor LOVES Cupcakes! 8-) I Stamped my Sweet TE Build a Treat Cupcakes with Memento Tuxedo Black, did a bit of paper piecing & added a touch of shading with my Trusty Copics. I cut them out with the help of TE's Build a Treat Tops & Bottoms Dies and popped them up with bits of foam tape.. My mats and BG layers were created with Kraft CS, Choice Butter Cream CS, Lavender CS from my stash, dp's from Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic, for the Seafoam & Chartreuse parts and various unknown scraps from my stash for the Lavender parts...8-) To finish it all up I added touch of distressing with Colorbox Frost White ink, stamped my fun Build a Treat Sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black. I also added a Sweet little Flower created with TEs' Flower Box Sprigs & flowers Dies, topped with cute little gem, some fun polka dot ribbon and last but not least lol, I created a Fun custom made Envelope with the Super Cool We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board!....8-)
And just for fun! I also made some Sweet Cupcake Birthday tags for my stash... ;-)
I pretty much used all the same supplies as my Card with the addition of TE's Frame it up 1 Die, TE's Label Stacklets 3 Dies & TE's Circles BIG Background Stamp for my Tag bases... Also TE's From the Heart Frame Die to frame up my Sweet little Cupcakes and Also some sparkly eyelets just For Fun!... 8-)
Now make sure to stop on over at the Cupcake Inspirations Blog & check out all the Darling creations the rest of the Terrificly Talented Designers have in store for your inspiration! 8-)
