I { Heart } You.. - I/O Oldies But Goodies

Hi All! And a Very Happy Tuesday to you! Hop your week is going Fabulously so far! It's been a Good one so far for me. It's still been chilly and rainy here So I've been coloring up a storm in my Crafts room lol.. Well, today I'm back with my latest creation inspired by a Dear friend of mine who asked me to create a Clean and Simple style card for him to give to his Girlfriend for Valentine's Day.  And as the image he picked was an Older Impression Obsession image, I thought I would play along with their latest Oldies but Goodies Challenge while I was at it.. 8-)
I Stamped my Darling Leigh Hannan Heart image, that I can't seem to locate in I/O's Store at the moment, with Memento Tuxedo Black onto  Flourishes Classic White and colored it up with my trusty Copics. I cut out my image and scored the edges with the help of my Score Pal for a nice clean look and added a touch of shading very carefully to the edges with my R43 Copic marker. For my Mats and BG layers I chose a combination red CS from my stash and some Darling digi dp's from Ann Langpap's Pup-PEA Love set. My I/O Sentiment was stamped onto a Cute little hand cut tag with Memento Tuxedo Black, scored with my Score pal and inked with my R43 Copic Marker again,so it would match my image panel. To finish it all up, I added some Stardust Stickles for a little Bling, and there you have it, Clean and Simple! 8-)  Sure Hope his Girlfriend likes it!.. 8-)

Oh and on another note, I 've had a few folks ask me to post some picks of my crafting area, But I really want to clean it up and do some Re-Organizing first, lol.. So I will post complete pics at a later date.. lol However, where I keep my Copics is actually somewhat uncluttered & after chatting with my Sweet friend Kim the other day about Copic storage, etc.. I thought would share a quick pic of how I store mine... I use a variation of an idea I saw on Better Homes and Gardens Online ... I just put empty paint cans in one of the cubbies above my, currently crazy messy crafting table, facing out so I can see all my colors.. 8-)

Hope you all have a Wonderful day & thanks so much for Visiting today!

Je T'aime - FTTC152

Hi All! And a Very Happy Monday to you! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Mine was very nice and relaxing.. I did actually get a few things done in my Crafts room that I wanted, but not nearly as much as I had planned.. lol Does that every happen to you.? I got a little side tracked.. lol Oh well, still a Very Good weekend, non-the-less. 8-) Well, today I'm back with my latest creation inspired by Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #152. And Miss Heather is asking us to create anything but a card. And since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, I just had to create something with a Valentine theme..  ( again..lol) 8-)
I made up this Sweet little Gift Card Holder.  It's a variation of a Fun idea I found through Pinterest and you can check out the tutorial Here. You could really do these fun little gift card holders up so many different ways too. Plus it's kind of a neat way to recycle! 8-)  The base of my Gift Card holder is actually a toilet paper roll.. I flattened it up and creased the sides with a bone folder and sealed the bottom with a strip of score tape. I added a bit of distressing with my Snow Cap paint dauber and inked my edges with a touch of Vintage Photo Distress ink.  I adhered my MME Love Me dp's and punched hearts MS border and then my Sweet rose heart image from Flourishes Hearts & Flowers set.  I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo black onto Flourishes Classic White  and colored it up with my trusty Copics using Flourishes Lenten Rose Copic Collection. I fussy cut out my image and popped it up with some foam tape and added my Sentiment also from the same set onto a hand cut distressed banner that I popped up with foam tape as well. To finish it all up, I added  some eyelets, and ribbon from my stash so I could also attach this to a gift like an Extra Special gift tag too, if I wanted. To get to the Gift Card inside, you just pull the ribbon up and it brings the Gift card up with it, kind of like a Cocoa Slider.. 8-)

Hope you all have a Wonderful day & Thanks so much for Stopping by! 8-)

Hugs & Kisses - SFYTT Jan 2012

Hi All! and a Very Happy Sunday to you! Hope you've been enjoying a Wonderful weekend! It's been a bit chilly and rainy here the last couple of days, perfect weather for staying in and crafting.. 8-) Well today I thought I would share a quick post of my latest creation inspired by Jen del Muro's  Sketch For You To Try. And since their Sponsor is TCP, I just had to pull out one of the Darling Big Eared Bunny's they are so Famous for..lol.. However, I must confess, I couldn't wait for my order and broke down and got this little digi Cutie directly from Zlatina's Etsy shoppe.. 8-)
I printed out my Sweet little Rabbit with Daisies image onto Flourishes Classic White  & colored it up with my trusty Copics, of course 8-). I fussy cut her out & popped her up with a bit of foam tape onto a SB Classic Circle and Die-Namic Open Scalloped Doily. I added a bit of shading with my Victorian Velvet Distress Ink to my Circle while the die was still in place and then popped them up with a few dimensionals as well. My BG panels were created with a combination of kraft CS from my stash and some Darling dp's from MME's Love Me Collection. My Impression Obsession Sentiment was stamped directly onto my BG with Memento Tuxedo Black. XOXO... - SSS142

Hi All! Hope you have all been having a Wonderful week! Well it's Saturday and you know what that means... It's time for another Fabulous Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge! Yay! 8-)  And as this is the Third Saturday of the month, we have a fun Spin too, which means there's a Terrific prize up for grabs to one very lucky winner! 8-) Our spin this time is "Non-Traditional Valentine" 8-)  So Without further delay, Here's my take on Miss Korin's Awesome Sketch and the spin... 8-)
I have  a confession to make, lol... I am Absolutely Smitten with LOTV's images and have a bunch of them in my stash, but have only recently been brave enough to start inking them up.. Or more directly, coloring them up.. lol See, when I first started collecting them, I had just started using Copics.. And for anyone who is just starting out with Copics, it takes a while to get the hang of them..  And I'm still learning, lol  but finally feel like my coloring skills might finally do these little Cuties justice.. So at long last, I inked up my Darling LOTV Toadstool for Two image with Memento Tuxedo black, stamped it onto Flourishes Classic White and colored these little Sweeties up with my trusty Copics. I cut out my image and scored the edges with the help of my Score Pal for a nice clean look and added a touch of shading with Antique Linen Distress ink. For my Mats and BG layers I chose a combination kraft CS from my stash and some Darling dp's from MME'sBlink of an Eye collection. My Pink by Design Sentiment was stamped onto a Cute little die cut tag with Memento Rich Cocoa. To finish it all up, I popped up my image panel with some foam tape, added a bit of ribbon from my stash, and a fun little button all tied up with some Yummy Baker's twine from MAD Stamper finds.. 8-)

And here's Miss Korin's Awesome sketch!

I hope you can play along with us at The Sweet Stop! Can't wait to see what you all come up with this week. Hi all! Hope you have been having a Lovely Thursday! Mine has been nice and relaxing, believe it or not, lol. I try to keep the days that I work free of a bunch of things to do so I can be relatively stress free.. lol This evening before I head out, I thought I would do a quick post of my latest creation inspired by the Fabulous Ladies of CR84FN and their latest Color Challenge #45. I'm not sure that I nailed their Cheery Vibrant colors this time as I went for a bit softer look with them instead.. I just found these Fabulous Digi dp's that I just HAD to use.. lol.. So here's what I came up with...

See, a bit softer, but all the colors are still there.. 8-)  My Mats and BG Layers were created using Holly Mc Caig's Gorgeous Shabby Retreat digi dp's and some kraft CS from my stash.  I created my Sweet flower with coffee filters, my trusty Copics, a vintage pearl brad and Mona's Terrific Tutorial, Thanks Mona! 8-). Love ya a latte!

Hi all! And a very Happy Monday to you! 8-)  Today I'm back to share my latest creation doubly inspired, first off by Karen's Fabulous Sweet Sunday Sketch #149.  And I'm so glad she changed up the timeline to every other week, lol, 'cause I know I will be able to play along more often now! Yay!  8-) My second source of inspiration came from this Darling Etsy Shoppe called  Milk Coffee Digital StampsI just Adored their images & had a tough time deciding, they are all so cute! Hope you get  chance to stop by and check them out! They are even having a buy 3 get one Free promo right now..8-)  Anyway, I thought these two digis would go perfectly together using Karen's Awesome sketch, in fact, I made up two of them 'cause I couldn't decide which combinations I liked best.. lol 8-)

I printed out my Sweet Ice Blended & Hot Coffee images out onto  Flourishes Classic White and did a little paper piecing on the Darling little Cup bands and colored up the rest with my trusty Copics and fussy cut them out.  I popped them up with a bit of foam tape onto a Fun little layered die cut heart I created with the help of my Hearts and Scalloped Hearts Nesties sets. For my mats and BG layers, I chose a combination of pink and ivory CS from my stash and some Adorable dp's from Bo Bunny's Crazy Love set.  For a little added texture I ran my pink CS pieces through my CB using a Sizzix hearts EF. And to finish it all up, I stamped my Pixie Cottage sentiment onto a hand cut banner tag with Memento Rich Cocoa, added ribbon from my stash and a cute little conversation heart epoxy chipboard button all tied up with a bit of Yummy Bakers twine from SNSS.

And here's the second one I made.. It's pretty much the same as the first one, I just reversed the colors and dp's.. And then of course I couldn't decide which one to post..lol So I thought I would show you both of them. 8-)
And here's the Sweet Sunday Sketch # 149

Hope you all have a Fabulous day & thanks so much for Visiting! 8-)
