TE - It's Your Birthday - SFYTTJuly 2012
Hi all! And a Very Happy Monday to you! Hope you all had a Fantastic weekend! We had a pretty nice one here, a bit Hotter than I would have liked, lol, but that just made it easier to stay inside and finish up a few projects, lol 8-) Well today I'm back to share my latest creation inspired by Jen's Awesome Sketch For You To Try for July!
This was a Super Fun sketch for me, I can totally see my self using this one a lot! For my creation today I chose to flip it on it's side and uses an Oval instead of a Circle, but the details are all still there! 8-) I paper pieced most of my Fun Taylored Expressions It's Your Birthday Ala Carte image and colored the rest up with my Trusty Copics. I cut my image out with the help of my Classic Ovals and Scallop Ovals Nesties set and added some shading with Tumbled Glass Distress ink while the die was still in place. My Mats and BG layers were created with a combination of kraft CS from my stash and MME's On the Bright Side One collection. and to finish it all up, I popped my focal panel up with a bit of foam tape and added some Fun Bling with a touch of Stardust Stickles! 8-)

ReplyDeleteI can't imagine the time and patience it took to paper piece the sentiment on this card, but what a FABULOUS look you've achieved!! I LOVE all those little chevrons spelling out Happy Birthday to some lucky recipient! Awesome card!

Wow! That's some serious cutting, but I love, love, love the look! Great stamp set.
ReplyDeleteAwww. Here it is! Gorgeous and what patience you must have to paper piece this. But it sure is beautiful. Also love the glittery look of the balloons.
