Yuletide Blessings!

Hi All! And a very Happy Friday to you! Hope you all had Happy Thanksgiving! Mine was Wonderful, so much to be Thankful for.8-)  And I didn't have to do any cooking.. Just baked a few pies and off the the Fire station I went. I think it's really great that they allow family & friends to come and have holiday dinner at the station when their loved ones have to be on duty, Like my DH was. Plus The fellas do all the cooking! So nice of them. My DH was in charge of the Cranberries, and I must say, he did a great job! They were delicious! 8-) Well, today I thought I would do a quick post to share one of the projects I've been working on this week.. I've had a few different ideas floating around in my head for some relatively quick and easy Christmas cards to mass produce and send out to friends and family this year. And here's what I came up with for my first idea..

I actually made up 10 of these.. Kind of a take off on the ones I did  for Thanksgiving, but I think they came out pretty nice.. What do you think? 8-).. These were pretty quick and easy.. My main BG panels were created with kraft CS from my stash that had been painted with my SowCap paint dauber and run through my CB with the Christmas Blessings EF, and then sanded a bit so the words would show through.  The remaining BG panels were made up with a combination of various strips of dp from Authentique's Wonder collection, some ivory CS from my stash and the help of an MS border punch. My Lovely Ornaments were  stamped using Waltzing Mouse's Vintage Ornaments set with with two different SU's inks, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler and then cut out with the help of my SB Heirloom Ornaments dies and then popped up with a few dimensionals. My Waltzing Mouse Sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto the center of my Ornaments. And to finish them all up, I just inked all my edges with a touch of Vintage Photo distress ink, added seam binding bows and cute little buttons all tied up with some Yummy Baker's twine from MAD Stamper Finds...See, pretty easy peasy, huh...8-)

Here's  few more pics of the individual cards.

Hope you all are Enjoying your family and friends over this long Holiday weekend & Thanks so much or stopping by today!
Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Hi Shannon!
These cards are absolutely gorgeous. I hope that you include a frame with each of them as they are a work of art that belongs on the wall.
Are there any pictures of your craft space on your blog. I love imagining how someone's craft space looks and I am guessing yours is as amazing as your cards.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful creations. Carol
