Today I am sharing a Few Fun Projects and the first one features the Brand New Wheely Great Petite stamp & Die Set Designed by the Fabulous Nancy McKinny for her Darling Whimsical Wishes stamp line.
OMGosh, can I just tell you, I had SOOO much fun with this Darling set! lol 8-) Seriously, Soo many fun things you can create with it! 8-) I create this Cheery little card for a friend of mine who needed a male friendly get well card, and She was thrilled with how it turned out. 8-)
I stamped my Fun little Bug with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it up with my trusty Copics. I cut it out with the help of the Wheely Great Die included with the set, and added some hub cap appropriate brads and popped it up with a bit of foam tape onto my Classic Ovals Die Cut. My Calassic Oval was stamped with rain drops from the New Sunny Days Set in Tumbled Glass Distress ink and shaded too while the die was still in place and matted up onto a Label Stacklets 3 Die Cut. My mats and BG layers are a combination of Choice Snow White CS, Kraft CS and Pebbles Fun Seen & Noted 6x6 collection. To finish it all up I added my Sweet little rain clouds created with the Sunny Days Dies and textured with the Waves and Bubbles impression plate... 8-)
Now Just to show you all how Versatile this set can be, and just because it's
December and I just HAD to add a little Christmas Flavor to our Release, lol...
See, just a Super fun set, No? ;-) lol... I must admit my Bug & Christmas tree card was inspired by one of Taylor VanBruggen's Darling creations you can see HERE! 8-) So when I saw this set, I knew I just had to see if I could do something similar, and then of course, I had to try it with Presents too! LOL Thanks Miss Taylor for the Awesome inspiration! 8-) I pretty much went thru most of the same steps from my previous Wheely Great card, but added a few more extras. I added the Scallop Cirlces SB Die cuts, the Make a Snowflake Die cuts topped with buttons and Doodle Twine, the Christmas tree from the Happy Trails Set with a touch of Liquid Applique, and the Presents from the Bushel & A Peck Set. I also added my fluffy cloud with my cloud template created from the Cloud Border die, Tumbled Glass Distress ink and a small stippling brush. My Mats & BG layers were created with Kraft CS & Echo Parks This & That Christmas 6x6 collection. The sentiments are from the Banner Holiday Set and stamped onto Blimps and Banners Die cuts... 8-)
Here are a couple of pics of the individual cards...
