Can I just tell you I had so much fun creating these Festive Christmas Cards! I even got to do a little experimenting with Embossing folder watercoloring! lol... 8-) Well, I started off by creating my Fun Twinkling Lights BG's with the help of TE's New Twinkling Holiday EF and my trusty Distress Markers and a Mini Mister.. I colored up all the Twinkling bulbs on the Embossing Folder and spritzed with my Mini Mister before embossing my Sugar Cube Premium CS BG panels.
Next I cut out my Merry & Bright Focal Panels with the help of TE's New Merry & Bright Die & TE's Cherry Pop Premium CS and adhered them to a bit of TE's Sugar Cube Premium CS that I had embossed with TE's New Twinkling Holiday Embossing Folder but this time without adding any Distress Watercoloring & then attached them to my Card bases Created with TE's Cherry Pop & Granny Smith Premium CS's. And to finish them off I just added a few of TE's Previously released Little Bits Christmas Bulb Die cuts just for fun... 8-)
Here are the items I used for my projects today...
Hope you all have a Super day & Thanks so much for visiting! 8-)
These are so fun Shannon! I love that you always make multiples of cards - I really need to start doing that!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite christmas memory is going to christmas eve service every year with my family. i enjoy looking at everyone's ideas for their new releases. Such great ones
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Favorite (and funny) Christmas memory is when I was a kid we moved from NY to FL. The first Christmas there we had one of those stick aluminum branched trees (after always having fresh cut real ones) and it was so hot we went to the beach. I was in season shock! LOL!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Shannon, I love the embossing folder watercoloring technique! My favorite Christmas memory is getting all bundled up and walking in our neighborhood looking at everyone's Christmas lights, I love Christmas lights!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Tammy
Congrats Tammy! you are the Crafty Points winner! 8-)
DeleteShannon I love the cards! The layers, colors and embossing combines for a really striking Christmas card :) My favorite memory is when I got a Miss Revlon doll ( precursor to barbie) My mom and dad built a doll house and furnished it plus my mom made the doll a whole wardrobe :)
ReplyDeleteAnother great TE release and beautiful cards by YOU! I always associate two favorite memories with Christmas, and they were yearly traditions -- my brother and I each putting our one special bird ornament on the tree, and reading "The Littlest Angel". It was the most beautiful book with pop ups. Always tucked away for Christmas. Given to me by my sister who was quite a bit older and died suddenly when I was still a little girl.
