I always like to send out Thanksgiving Cards to friends and family each year, so I was super excited when I saw TE's New Simply Stamped Leaves Stamp set!! I knew I'd be having lots of fun with them creating some Super cards to send out this year! Yay! 8-) Well I started out by stamping lots of Simply Stamped Leaves onto TE's Sugar Cube Permium CS with TE's Lemon Meringue, Candy Corn, Dijon, Pumpkin, and Mulled Wine Premium Dye inks. and cut them all out with the help of TE's New Simply Stamped Leaves Dies.
Next I created my Cards BG's with the help of TE's Pumpkin & Cube Premium CS's, TE's Block Party- Thanks Die, embossed with TE's Bead Board Embossing Folder after stamping my Fall Florals Sentiment with TE's Chocolate Truffle Premium Hybrid ink. For a bit of Pizzaz, I spattered my Card bases with a bit of watered down distress inks in Rusty Hinge, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Aged Mahogany & Vintage Photo inks.. And to finish them all up, I added a bundle of Die cut Simply Stamped Leaves all tied up with a bit of Burlap twine on each of my cards... 8-)
Here are the items I used for my project today...
Hope you all have a Fantastic day & Thanks for dropping in! 8-)
Wowsa Shannon, do I ever like these cards! Love the pretty leaves all dressed in autumn colours. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool how the leaves come out! Awesome! And the bead board and big die cut "thanks" and your creative brain really help this come together easily. Thanks for the inspiration, Shannon!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Shannon. I love the leaves and the color palette. And ink splatters is one of my favorite techniques. Thank you for the awesome inspiration =)
