Thank You For Your Service - Taylored Expressions

Hi all! Hope you had a Super Weekend! ;-) Well I thought I'd pop in real quick today to share my latest Taylored Expressions creation inspired by TE's Stars & Stripes Set!  And such a Perfect week to share a couple CAS style Patriotic cards too, as lots of us here in the US are Gearing up for the upcoming  4th of July festivities too!  I know we've got some fun plans with friends up in Discovery Bay for the 4th...What are you all up too for the 4th? Hope something fun and Festive!... ;-)
For my Project today I thought I'd break out my Awesome Distress Markers again for a fun rustic/vintagey look.  I colored my Stars and Stripes USA and spritzed the stamp with a bit of Ink Potion #9 before stamping onto Choice Watercolor CS twice. Once my Sweet  images were completely dry, I cut them out with the help of the coordinating die that comes with the set and popped them up with a bit of foam tape... 8-) 
My mats and BG layers were created with a combination of Kraft CS, TE's Stars Impression Plate, Bazzill Typhoon CS,& Choice Buttercream CS. I inked my edges with Colorbox Frost White and Antique Linen Distress ink.  And to finish it all Up, I stamped my Stars & Stripes Sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black onto layered Band-It Die cuts.. Pretty easy peasy, huh?... 8-)

    Fabulous card Shannon. That die and stamp set is just amazing and even though I won't have it for this 4th of July, I still want it. The kraft bacgkround looks great.

    Ooh these are gorgeous Shannon!! I love the patriotic colours with the Kraft!! the embossing looks wonderful and I love the CAS layout with the map and sentiment! they are perfect for 4th July!!
