Hi All and a Very Happy Friday to you! Well today is our Spotlight day and last day of our September Release and Birthday Bash! But we still have a few more goodies up our sleeves for you to check out! 8-) So please do hop by and see all the Fabulous Samples the Bakers Dozen has whipped up to show off ALL the new TE Products! 8-) Today I am sharing a couple of Fun projects with you. The first one features the Darling New Lets Chat Stamp Set Concepted by our very own Terrificly Talented Jami Sibley & Designed by the Fabulous Emily Burger for her Embracing Grace line. And my second project features the New Bake Me a Cake Taylored Die Set. 8-)
I had a LOT of fun with this Darling set, and the minute I saw it I new that I had to create a fun little message pad and pencil holder to keep by the phone. ( Found the tutorial HERE through Pinterest) Nothing worse than scrambling to find paper and something to write on, while on the phone.. lol And this fun little creation is just the Perfect Solution! 8-) I stamped my Cute little Let's Chat Phone image and Carole King Verse with Memento Rich Cocoa, did a little paper piecing and then added a bit of shading with my trusty Copics. I cut out my phone with the coordinating Lets Chat Phones Dies and popped it up with a bit of foam tape. My Mats and BG layers were created with kraft CS and Echo Park's This & That Charming 6x6 collection. To finish it all up I added some shading with Vintage Photo Distress ink and and a bit of Fun polkadot ribbon from my stash! 8-) Here's a shot of the inside...
Next up are my Sweet Bake Me a Cake Note Cards.. I Just LOVE this die set!! OMGoodness, there are Sooo Many possibilities with this Fun set, I tell ya! Once I got started I had a very hard time putting them down! lol They were lots of fun to play with! And this is what I finally came up with for my post today... 8-)
I did my little cakes up a bit differently so I could show you how versatile this set truly is! 8-) I just Love how these little note cards turned out.. I think they would be Perfect as Sweet little gift cards for Pretty Birthday, Shower, or Even Wedding gifts! 8-) My Cake bases were created with kraft CS that I stamped with the New Circle Big Background Stamp with Colorbox Alabaster ink. The icing and trimings were created with Flamingo CS and Darling dp's from October Afternoon's Cake Walk 8x8 collection. I adhered my decorated cakes onto Choice Snow White CS Die Cut card bases, created by aligning the fold just under where the die would cut at the top of the cake. To finish them all up, I added a bit shading with my Copics, Stardust Stickles for a touch of bling and topped them off with Sweet little Bows.
Here are some pics of each individual notecard... 8-)
Well it sure has been a lot of fun Celebrating our Big Birthday Bash and sharing the New Release items all week Long with you! Sure hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did and that you will be enjoying playing with some of the New TE Goodies yourselves in the very near future! 8-)
