When Life Gives You Lemons... - SFYTT April 2012

Hi all! And a Very Happy Thursday evening to you! 8-) Hope you have all been having a Super week so far! 8-) Mine's been good, and Super busy too!  Just wanted to share with you my Latest Whimmsie Doodles Guest Designer Card and play along with the Latest Sketch for you to Try while I was at it.. 8-) I didn't have any of TSG's Darling images , but I do have quite a bunch of  Melyssa Connolly's Darling images and as TSG Features her designs, I figured this Fun little image would be a good substitute.. lol
I printed out my Fun Whimsie Doodles Margarita's image onto Flourishes Classic White and colored  it up with my trusty Copics. I cut it out with the help of my Classic Circles Large and Small and popped it up with foam tape. All my mats and BG pieces were created with a combination of kraft CS from my stash and various dp's from Fancy Pants' Beach Bum collection To finish it all up I added a touch of Stardust Stickles for my salted rim and and some Yummy Bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds.  Pretty easy peasy, huh... 8-)

    Fabulous card Shannon! That image is awesome! I think I could use one of those just about right now! Love the cooring and the sketch! The cherry hanging off the circle panel is just the perfect touch along with the 'salt'. :o)

    Oh WOW! I love this card SO much Shannon!! what a fab design. The image and sentiment are awesome! I love the way you've frosted the top of the glass - it's genius!! The papers and layout are just gorgeous!! very to my taste - I love bright colours! :-)

    Love the whole concept of this card Shannon! The layout is great, love the image, papers and how you've coloured it. Makes you feel like you should be sitting by the pool while some gorgeous young, tanned and oiled fellow is fanning you with a big blue feather... oh yeah!
