My Mats and BG Layers were created using Holly Mc Caig's Gorgeous Shabby Retreat digi dp's and some ivory CS from my stash. I created my Sweet flower with coffee filters, my trusty Copics, a pink sparkly brad, though it's hard to see that it's actually pink in this pic.. I used Mona's Terrific Tutorial, again, in case someone didn't get to check out the link last time..Thanks again Mona! 8-). I also got to use my New MFT Faux Crochet Border die ,Decorative Doily duo and my Brand new PTI Mat Stack 4 stamps and Die set as well. Yay! I just Love new Toys! 8-) My PTI sentiment was stamped directly onto my BG with Memento Rich Cocoa. And to finish it all up I inked all my edges with a touch or Vintage Photo Distress ink and added a bit of seam binding ribbon from MAD Stamper Finds. Pretty easy peasy huh...? 8-)

ReplyDeleteShannon, seeing your card this morning reminded me of the soft sunrises we see through the ribbons of mist over our pasture. Soft pinks, oranges and yellows - just made my heard feel warm and happy with the colors alone, but your elements are beautiful! Thanks for showing how to make the flower by linking back to Beate's video, and mentioning that you used coffee filters instead of tissue paper! Wonderful idea!
