Merry Christmas Everyone! 8-)

Hi All! And a Very Merry & Blessed Christmas to you! 8-) Today, I thought I would sneak one last post in with the last of my Christmas cards, real quick like though, cause I've  gotta pack up all my baked goodies to take to the Fire Station and continue with the Merry Making there..8-)
This one was pretty quick & easy to put together with the help of my Postage Stamp & Layered Poinsettia Nesties sets. The dp's are from MME's Holly Jolly set and I added a touch of Vintage photo distress ink to my edges. To finish it all up, I stamped my Hero Arts Sentiment, added a bit of ribbon from my stash and a few gold pearls for a bit of bling. 8-)

This one was Super Quick too and was inspired by Kristina Werner's Adorable Card Here from her Holiday Card Series. I tell ya, she has such Adorable ideas and quick too! But alas, I have run out of time for this year, will just have to save them for next year.. lol 8-). I used SU's Stocking Builder punch and Stamp Set with SU's Cherry Cobler , Old Olive, and Pool inks, a bit of Yummy bakers twine, a tiny little gem, a few dimensionals, and my white gel pen that kept trying to get away from me, lol and Voila! my card is finished.. Pretty easy peasy, huh?.. 8-)

Merry Christmas Everyone! & Thanks so much for dropping in! 8-)

I/O's Trees for Sale.. 8-)

Hi All! And a Very Happy Tuesday to you! So is everyone all read for Christmas?  Well, I am not quite ready, but I have my list of the many things I want to get completed in the next 3 days.. Seeing as I  have to work on Thursday and Friday, I technically have until Thursday early evening to get everything done.. lol Wish me luck! 8-) So funny how all of a sudden it just snuck up on me and Christmas is This Sunday! Wowzers! Well, my DH is having to work on Christmas day this year too. So We will be celebrating on Christmas Eve. Which leaves me with one less day for last minute preparations! 8-)  But the trade off is I won't have to cook on Christmas Day!  Yay! 8-)  I will head out to the Fire Station like I did this past Thanksgiving, and the fellas will be doing the cooking! Whoo Hoo! That will be a nice treat for sure! 8-)
Well, todayI thought I would share one of the last few Christmas cards I created real quick.. And considering we finally have our Christmas Tree up, not decorated yet lol, but up, this one just felt appropriate... 8-)

This is I/O's Trees For Sale Image! It's not a super fancy image but I just Love it! 8-) Reminds me of when I was a little girl and my Mom and Dad and I would drive up to the Snow and cut our own Christmas Tree.  My Mom would always bring a big thermos of Hot Cocoa.. It was so much fun and has always been one of my most fondest Christmas memories..8-)
Well I colored up my Pretty Christmas Trees with my trusty Copics, added a touch of Stardust Stickles and embossed the edges with the help of my Score Pal for a nice clean look.  For my Mats and BG layers I chose a combination of Forest Green CS from my stash and some Darling dp's from Basic Grey's Figgy Pudding collection. To finish it all up I stamped my I/O sentiment onto a strip of matted up White CS from my stash with Memento Tuxedo Black, added Darling layered die-namic snowflakes topped with a cute little button and tied up with some Yummy Bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds. 8-)

May Your Days Be Merry & Bright..

Hi all! And a Very Happy Thursday evening to you! I am doing a super quick post today from Starbuck of all places.. lol  I am enjoying my very first Peppermint Latte of the Season, believe it or not, all due to the Lovely fact that we have no power in my neighborhood right now.. Actually there are several neighborhoods without power right now, and no word as to when it will be restored.  And it's all due to a Whopper of a wind storm that we had last night.. It was a doozie, I tell ya.  We lost the majority of our tree in our front yard, several large branches snapped and a lot of our neighbors lost trees too.. Luckily no one was hurt and none of the trees fell on any houses or cars..So that was a huge Blessing. 8-)
Okay, real quick before my computer dies..lol here is my creation inspired by the Fabulous Ladies at CR84FN latest Color Challenge #43.
I really Loved the colors this time! Just Gorgeous!  My Mats & BG panels were created with a combination of Olive, Ivory and Kraft CS from my stash. My I/O Snowflakes were stamped with White pigment Ink, Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo Distress inks. My I/O Holly Jolly Christmas text was stamped with Vintage Photo Distress ink as well. my I/O sentiment was stamped onto a Classic Ovals Die cut using more Vintage Photo Distress ink and popped up with a few dimensionals. To finish it all up, I inked all my edges, added some fun gold adhesive pearls, a bit velvet ribbon from my stash and some Lace and a kraft die cut doily both from MAD Stamper Finds ... Pretty easy peasy, huh?.. 8-)

Oh, here's a quick pic of what you see looking out the front door of my house.. Yikes! 8-)  So glad no one was hurt and no houses or cars were damaged..

Thanks so much for stopping by & Hope you all have a Safe, Warm & Wonderful evening! 8-)

Yuletide Blessings!

Hi All! And a very Happy Friday to you! Hope you all had Happy Thanksgiving! Mine was Wonderful, so much to be Thankful for.8-)  And I didn't have to do any cooking.. Just baked a few pies and off the the Fire station I went. I think it's really great that they allow family & friends to come and have holiday dinner at the station when their loved ones have to be on duty, Like my DH was. Plus The fellas do all the cooking! So nice of them. My DH was in charge of the Cranberries, and I must say, he did a great job! They were delicious! 8-) Well, today I thought I would do a quick post to share one of the projects I've been working on this week.. I've had a few different ideas floating around in my head for some relatively quick and easy Christmas cards to mass produce and send out to friends and family this year. And here's what I came up with for my first idea..

I actually made up 10 of these.. Kind of a take off on the ones I did  for Thanksgiving, but I think they came out pretty nice.. What do you think? 8-).. These were pretty quick and easy.. My main BG panels were created with kraft CS from my stash that had been painted with my SowCap paint dauber and run through my CB with the Christmas Blessings EF, and then sanded a bit so the words would show through.  The remaining BG panels were made up with a combination of various strips of dp from Authentique's Wonder collection, some ivory CS from my stash and the help of an MS border punch. My Lovely Ornaments were  stamped using Waltzing Mouse's Vintage Ornaments set with with two different SU's inks, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler and then cut out with the help of my SB Heirloom Ornaments dies and then popped up with a few dimensionals. My Waltzing Mouse Sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto the center of my Ornaments. And to finish them all up, I just inked all my edges with a touch of Vintage Photo distress ink, added seam binding bows and cute little buttons all tied up with some Yummy Baker's twine from MAD Stamper Finds...See, pretty easy peasy, huh...8-)

Here's  few more pics of the individual cards.

Hope you all are Enjoying your family and friends over this long Holiday weekend & Thanks so much or stopping by today!

Joy, Love, Peace...

Hi All! And a Very Happy Wednesday to you! Are you all set and ready for Thanksgiving?  Well this year, My DH has to work, so we will be having Thanksgiving at the Fire Station, and that means The Fellas will be cooking which is a nice treat. 8-) And I will be baking a few pies to bring with me to help out.  Well today I'm back to share my latest creation inspired by Impression Obsession's "Stamps Only, No Patterned Paper" Challenge. We are to create our own with Impression Obsession stamps, which was a lot of fun for me as I actually enjoy creating my own BG dp's, but don't always have the time...

Well as you have guessed, all the Stamps used on my card today are from Impression Obsession.  My image panel was created using I/O's Winter Cardinals Clear set, that I dont' seem to be able to locate in their store at the moment for some reason, and I colored it up with my trusty Copics. I added  a bit of shading with some Antique Linen Distress ink to the edges and then embossed them with the help of my Score Pal for a nice clean look. My sprinkling of snow was created with little dots of liquid applique and some Stardust Stickles, which you cant' really see to well in my picture, but IRL there's lots of pretty sparkle.  My BG was created using I/O CAC Harlequin, and Music stamps, and then I matted everything up with some brown CS from my stash.  My sentiment was created using I/O's Christmas Borders clear stamp set and Memento Rich Cocoa. To finish it all up I popped my image panel up with a few dimensional  added a fun die-namic snowflake and a cute little button all tied up with some Yummy bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds.

Hope you all have a Wonderful Thanksgiving, filled with friends, family and lots of love and laughter too. Thanks so much for Stopping by today! 8-)
