Merry Merry Merry Merry...

Hi All! Hope you have all had a Wonderful week and a very Happy Thanksgiving too! Well it's Saturday and you know what that means... It's time for another Fabulous Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge! Yay! 8-) So maybe take a little break from the Holiday Shopping frenzy and come play along with us! I had a lot of fun with Miss Korin's Awesome sketch, so great for those larger images we all love, and I had a perfect one in mind as soon as I saw this weeks sketch, Bet you will too.. 8-) So, without further delay.... Here is the Sweet Stop Sketch #136  for this week:

And here's my Merry little take on it.. 8-) I pretty much stayed spot on with Miss Korin's Fabulous Sketch..


I stamped My Darling Penny Black Jolly Xmas Kitty onto Flourishes Classic White with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored him up with my trusty Copics. I added a few emboss resist  Flourishes snowflakes.. First I embossed my snowflakes with White EP and then very lightly sponged on a bit of Tumbled Glass Distress inks over top and created my Sweet snowy scene. I cut out and matted up my Sweet Jolly fellow, embossed the edges with the help of my Score Pal for a nice clean look. For my Mats and BG layers I chose a couple of different dp's from MME's The Merry Days of Christmas 6x6 set. To finish it all up, I stamped my Impression Obsession sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black onto a matted up strip of white CS, added a touch of Stardust Stickles here and there, and a couple a layered die-namic snowflakes topped with a cute little button and all tied up with some Yummy Bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds. 8-)

    One of the cutest cards I've seen in a long time, for sure! This perfectly colored image just makes me smile, and I love the snowflake background with the diagonal stripes! Cuter than cute!! I love it :)
