Baker's Dozen Studio Challenge!

Hi all! And a Very Happy Tuesday to you! I have Sooo been looking forward to sharing today's Exciting Baker's Dozen post with you all today!! Yay! 8-) Taylored Expressions is introducing a new monthly challenge for the design team:  The Baker's Dozen Studio Challenge.  This will be an opportunity for us to share what makes our stamping studios hum.  Each month we will have a fun, crafty question so we can share our favorites, some tips and tricks, stamping advice and more.

The question for July is:
You are stranded on a desert island. The good news is that you find a fabulous stamping hut well-stocked with papers, inks and other stamping supplies, however you only have the 5 stamp sets you brought with you in the luggage you managed to salvage. So tell us, what stamps sets did you bring and why?
What a Great question, huh?... 8-)  I really had  to think about this one for a bit, and let me tell you it was quite a challenge for me to pick  Just five sets, lol.  I really Adore all Taylored Expressions Fabulous stamps sets, but I think if I really had to narrow it down, I would have to go with Taylored Expressions Darling Word A la Carte stamps! They are so versatile, you can Taylor them to suit Masculine, Feminine, Fancy or CAS creations, not to mention when I travel, I travel light & they are small and easy to pack, lol 8-)
So I'd definitely grab the five Word A la Carte sets, for the cards I seem to make the most of: It's Your Birthday A la Carte, Faith A la Carte, cause I make a lot of encouragement cards, 8-) Love A la Carte which is great for Anniversary's, Weddings and Valentines of course, Snow A la Carte for Winter &  Christmas and last but definitely not least, Thanks A la Carte! 8-)

I stamped TE's Thanks Word A la Carte with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it up with my Trusty Copics. I cut it out and scored the edges with the help of my Score Buddy for a nice clean look and popped it up with a bit of foam tapeFor my mats and BG layers, I chose a combination of kraft CS from my stash and some Fabulous dp's from MME's Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks collection. I inked my edges with a touch of Victorian Velvet Distress ink and added a Few Sweet adhesive pearls. And the Fab Sketch is Jen Shultz's DS61.

Here are my Five Taylored Expressions A la Carte stamp set picks:
And here's one of my previously posted projects featuring another one of my Five Favorite Taylored Expressions  A la Carte sets. You can see all the details HERE... 8-)

Hope you all have a Fantastic day & thanks so much for stopping by! 8-)

  8. These are really great sentiment stamps Shannon and you have done a fantastic job with your card. I would definately have to take my Tim Holtz sets with me but it would be so hard not to take them all and have to choose. The butterflies would have to be the first choice set.
