I/O's Trees for Sale.. 8-)

Hi All! And a Very Happy Tuesday to you! So is everyone all read for Christmas?  Well, I am not quite ready, but I have my list of the many things I want to get completed in the next 3 days.. Seeing as I  have to work on Thursday and Friday, I technically have until Thursday early evening to get everything done.. lol Wish me luck! 8-) So funny how all of a sudden it just snuck up on me and Christmas is This Sunday! Wowzers! Well, my DH is having to work on Christmas day this year too. So We will be celebrating on Christmas Eve. Which leaves me with one less day for last minute preparations! 8-)  But the trade off is I won't have to cook on Christmas Day!  Yay! 8-)  I will head out to the Fire Station like I did this past Thanksgiving, and the fellas will be doing the cooking! Whoo Hoo! That will be a nice treat for sure! 8-)
Well, todayI thought I would share one of the last few Christmas cards I created real quick.. And considering we finally have our Christmas Tree up, not decorated yet lol, but up, this one just felt appropriate... 8-)

This is I/O's Trees For Sale Image! It's not a super fancy image but I just Love it! 8-) Reminds me of when I was a little girl and my Mom and Dad and I would drive up to the Snow and cut our own Christmas Tree.  My Mom would always bring a big thermos of Hot Cocoa.. It was so much fun and has always been one of my most fondest Christmas memories..8-)
Well I colored up my Pretty Christmas Trees with my trusty Copics, added a touch of Stardust Stickles and embossed the edges with the help of my Score Pal for a nice clean look.  For my Mats and BG layers I chose a combination of Forest Green CS from my stash and some Darling dp's from Basic Grey's Figgy Pudding collection. To finish it all up I stamped my I/O sentiment onto a strip of matted up White CS from my stash with Memento Tuxedo Black, added Darling layered die-namic snowflakes topped with a cute little button and tied up with some Yummy Bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds. 8-)

Hope you all Have a Wonderful, Festive day & thanks so much for dropping in!
Thanks for stopping by!

  11. Oooooh, love this one! IO stamps are some of my favorites! This is such a great Christmas scene and one we can all relate to. I love the lights strung over top and how you shaded and added sparkle at the base of the trees. I just love coming here. I always go away smiling!
